What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy approach designed to alleviate distress associated with traumatic memories. It facilitates the processing of these memories, reducing their lingering effects and allowing individuals to develop healthier coping mechanisms.
